Each year, I create a new series of scarves that bring out the very best in both wool and silk, blending the unique qualities of each material. The warmth and thickness of wool are paired with the soft, luxurious feel of silk. The silk is printed in vibrant colors that truly come to life on its smooth surface, while the wool is enhanced with embroidery, stitching, or dyeing techniques. These two fabrics are then expertly joined with a refined ladder stitch, resulting in my signature scarf—always heartmade.The absorbency of silk, makes it easy to be worn in warm weather and while working out. At the same time, its low conductivity keeps warm air close to the skin, during cold weather.
